I thought it would be a long time before I would need to have this section in my website. But at is happens fate had other plans.

This page is dedicated to Dyna who was the first of our kids that we lost. She was taken from us at a early age from a snake bite and she will be missed very much.

Dyna started off as a show dog but after a fright when she was young she semi-retired. Dyna returned to the show ring though she did not enjoy it as much as Sargon or Inkie.

But she realized it was her destiny to be a mother as she loved her puppies and was no doubt protecting them until the end. It was like she looked at me and said this is what I am here for and did she do a great job. It was while she was pregnant that she was given her new nickname of “Princess”. She acted like such a princess and after would only ever respond to you calling her Princess, not Dyna.

Dyna was cremated at the Serendipity Lavender Farm and returned home in time for Christmas 2008. She now sits in our cabinet, probably smiling at Inkie (her sister), believing she won the battle….she is now permanently the inside dog. Dyna will remain the face of Comeby !!!!

Dyna gave us 9 beautiful babies before leaving us and this page is a tribute to both her and those kids. Whilst we have lost Dyna she lives on in her kids, especially the 2 we have here still. As a constant reminder of her Ranger has similar markings as his mother and Lyra has most of her mothers habits, especially the BAD ONES !! But we love them both dearly.

We also asked the families of Dyna’s kids to take a photo from the weekend close to her death, so most are at approx 6 months of age.
