Jack joined us at Comeby Kennels in July 2005 as a 4 year old mature kelpie and is a lovely natured dog and has not met anyone who does not want to pat him. Jack has lived half of his life with Australian Shepherds, mixing well with both males and females. Suzanne has enjoyed showing Jack from the very beginning. Jack is comfortable in the ring and moves like he is floating not to mention he will bait to almost any food. Jack has enjoyed success in the show ring winning Puppy in Group at the Toowoomba Royal whilst with Barry and Leanne Nalder in Queensland. Since joining Comeby Kennels Jack has been awarded BIS at Speciality Level to Runner up in Group (GR2) at All Breed, multiple classes in group and class in show at both levels . Lately Jack has been seen enjoying herding with Glenn. He is already achieved his Herding Test and during 2008 will start training for Pre-Trial and Trialing on sheep, although he would prefer to chase after the ducks. Jack is available to stud to approved bitches and has sired a select few litters in Queensland and the one Comeby litter in Victoria (see Comeby Ice Man). Please contact us should you wish to meet Jack in person as he is often with Glenn and Suzanne at shows throughout Victoria and occasionally in New South Wales and Queensland.
