Min Min, a Norwegian Forest Cat, joins us thanks to Kate and Alan Dourley of Rozate Kennels. Min Min has joined us here at Comeby in a working capacity as our mouser. Living in the country we are prone to see more field mice and I hope to keep Min Min busy here. The name “Min Min” is derived basically from the job our cat has to undertake, catch mice. Suzanne thought of a famous mouse name which of course is Mickey but given we have a girl, thought of Minie which quickly became Min Min. Thanks again Kate and Alan for our mouser !!! Introducing “Litza”… Litza is our matriarch here at Comeby Kennels, ruling over all other dogs and was born in August 1999. Litza is a desexed girl and has not been a show dog or had any puppies she has just been a loving companion and Suzanne’s guard dog. You will often see Litza being Auntie to our puppies when they are being weined off their mother. She is very protective of the puppies and always enjoys playing with them. Her favourite game is to lay down and let them climb over her only to stand up and watch them fall down. This game is repeated often during the day. Unfortunately due to her age Litza is the “day shift” Auntie as the cold does get to her during winter and at times during summer.

Given we have SO MUCH rain here in Gippsland we had to engage the services of these lawn mowers. Here are a few of our black face suffock sheep. We have a total of 20 head of sheep consisting of black and white face suffock, merino and coloured cross breeds. Not only do the sheep mow the lawns but they also help Glenn train the dogs for herding. Not all have names only a couple, such as Rammy, Romeo (both rams of course) cagey and number 20. I know very original... |
