HERDING (Stockdog Trials)

Here in Australia we run a number of different courses and use main forms of stock (sheep, ducks and cattle).  

This sport allows the dogs to show and use their Naturally Born Instincts, and when it all comes together it is a sight to been seen.

Herding             

Here at Comeby Kennels we have been involved with herding for quite some time.   We trial three different breeds our ACD, Kelpies and Aussies.

‘JD” pictured above was the first dog that introduced me to herding and after that very first day  I was hooked.

Glenn has sat on controlling bodies and was the president of the Victorian Herding Association,  but now prefers just to train our dogs.

Glenn also is a full panel ANKC Herding Judge.
